The show turned out being an Oprah special dedicated to the harmful effects of driving and cell phone (primarily text) usage. Now, for the record, I'm more of a SportsCentre/Golf channel guy, but it was hard to turn away!
She had various guests discussing how cell phone texting while driving has affected them and their family, obviously in terrible/deadly ways. The message was simple, graphic and straight to the point. Texting while driving kills.
The next day at work it got me thinking. We MUST to speak to ALL our drivers about the harmful effects of texting while driving! It will keep them safe, TPI/clients safe and more importantly other drivers and pedestrians on the road safe. We're discussing this issue with our drivers as we speak!
